Artist-Client Annual Picnic Recap

Our annual Artist-Client picnic was a blast! The weather couldn't have been better with clear skies and just the right amount of sunshine, setting the perfect scene for our outdoor get-together. The artist-clients and their guests arrived full of excitement, ready to dive into a day filled with creativity, good company, and, of course, tasty food.

A Warm Welcome and Fun Activities

We kicked things off with some friendly hellos as everyone gathered in the parking lot behind the Berkeley Center Campus. You could feel the energy buzzing as old pals caught up and new friendships started to blossom. Laughter and chatter filled the air, setting the stage for a fun day.

Creative Art Projects

There is always art! Several tables were set up under a tent for everyone to create artwork in a comfortable setting. The patio was the perfect spot for a collaborative art project,  the painting of giant blocks that will be used for a life sized Jenga game!

Delicious Treats from City BBQ

What’s a picnic without great food? This year, City BBQ didn’t let us down. They served up a delicious spread with everything from tender smoked meats to savory sides. Everyone enjoyed their meals while reconnecting with old friends.

Fun and Games for Everyone

Besides all the artistic fun, we had classic picnic games like cornhole going on. Meanwhile, some upbeat tunes played, and before long, people were up and dancing, showing off their moves in a line dance.

Raffle Excitement

The raffle definitely added some extra thrill to the day. Five lucky winners went home with a basket filled with art supplies and other goodies.

A Heartfelt Thanks

We can’t say thank you enough to our fantastic sponsors, the Community Foundation for Kettering and Lori Hausfeld. Their support made this awesome day possible and ensured everyone had a great time.

Looking Forward

As the event came to a close, it was time to say goodbye. Everyone left with smiles, new art projects, and great memories. The day really showed how much community, creativity, and joy mean to us all. We’re already looking forward to next year’s picnic and keeping this wonderful tradition alive!
