Creative Edge Board Designated Endowed  Named Scholarship

Ron Geibert

For Immediate Release

Dayton, OH, March 7, 2025

We Care Arts is thrilled to announce the launch of the Creative Edge Board Designated Endowed  Named Scholarship, which provides sustainable funding to ensure that individuals with developmental disabilities, substance use disorders and mental health diagnoses can access life-enriching art classes free of charge.

This generous endowment of $30,000 is presented by Arlon Zabel in loving memory of her husband, Ron Geibert, an ardent supporter of the arts and a visionary advocate for creative education. Mr. Geibert's legacy of encouraging artistic growth and innovation will continue to inspire through this scholarship, providing invaluable support to the next generation of artists.

"We are deeply honored to establish this scholarship in Ron's name," said Arlon Zabel. "Ron believed in the transformative power of art and education. Through this endowment, we hope to continue his mission of empowering artists to hone their craft and achieve their dreams."

For more information on the scholarship, eligibility criteria, and the application process, please contact Rick Willits at rwillits@wecarearts.org.

Join us in celebrating the spirit of creativity and the enduring impact of art education through the Creative Edge Board Designated Endowed  Named Scholarship.
