Congratulation Byron S.!

This month, we are thrilled to shine the spotlight on Byron S., our talented and inspiring artist-client of the month. Originally hailing from the vibrant city of Atlanta, Georgia, Byron now calls Dayton, Ohio his home. His journey as an artist is as colorful and dynamic as his artwork, and we are honored to share a glimpse of his story and his creative endeavors.

Byron S. is a multifaceted individual with a wide array of interests and talents. In addition to his passion for art, Byron enjoys bowling, shooting hoops on the basketball court, playing cornhole, and immersing himself in video games. These activities reflect his energetic and vibrant personality, which he channels into every piece of art he creates.

Byron’s first notable achievement in the art world was winning first prize in a poster design contest. His powerful poster about gun violence resonated with many, showcasing his ability to convey meaningful messages through his work.

Byron is particularly drawn to abstract art, where he finds the freedom to express his emotions and ideas without boundaries. He enjoys experimenting with splatter and squeegee techniques. In addition to his visual art, Byron also enjoys merging his love for music with his art. He often writes rap lyrics on canvas boards, creating a unique fusion of art and words.

Byron draws immense inspiration from the supportive and creative environment at We Care Arts. He values the mutual respect and care he receives from the staff and fellow artist-clients. The sense of community and encouragement at We Care Arts fuels his creative spirit, allowing him to explore new ideas.
