Evening At The Races 2025

Our recent event, "Evening At The Races," presented by Tudor Financial and Bockrath Flooring & Rugs, held at the Presidential Banquet Center, was a resounding success, drawing a sold-out crowd of 400 enthusiastic attendees. The evening was filled with excitement, entertainment, and delicious culinary delights, making it a night to remember.

Guests enjoyed classic American fare including hotdogs, sliders, wings, and a unique mashed potato bar. The culinary experience was further enhanced by a complimentary signature drink, the refreshing mint julep, which perfectly complemented the evening's theme.

Dessert was a highlight, thanks to the generous donations from Mary Thieman. Attendees indulged in a delectable assortment of freshly baked cookies, featuring flavors such as bourbon balls, peppermint, and lemon.

Certainly, the highlight of the evening was the horse races. Guests placed their bets and erupted in cheers as the horses charged toward the finish line. We would like to express our gratitude to our race sponsors for their ongoing support.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, a DJ and photo booth were sponsored by KIA of Beavercreek, X-pert Roofing, and Poelking Chiropractic. The lively music and memorable photo keepsakes added extra flair to the evening.

Our silent auction featured enticing items such as a Family Fun basket which included a VIP experience at the Cincinnati Zoo donated by Steve Niswonger and coveted tickets to the CenterPoint Energy Dayton Air Show. The standout item, however, was a luxurious week-long vacation rental in Siesta Key donated by Rudy Dudon!

One of the event's highlights was our beloved annual piggy bank auction. This year, we showcased 10 unique, staff-designed piggy banks, each filled with exciting prizes. The winning horses received a specially crafted horse head bank filled with gold coins, also designed by our talented staff.

"Evening At The Races" was a fun night filled with joy, friendship, and unforgettable memories. We are deeply grateful to our sponsors, donors, staff, volunteers and attendees for making this event a remarkable success. Your support not only made the evening possible but also helped us raise funds for our cause. We look forward to welcoming everyone back next year for another spectacular event!
