This month, we are thrilled to shine a spotlight on our talented Artist-Client, Jenilynn J. Originally hailing from the Lone Star State of Texas, Jenilynn now calls Beavercreek home.
A Life Rich with Experiences
Jenilynn’s extensive travels throughout the United States and Mexican border towns have provided her with a rich tapestry of experiences and inspirations. These travels have undoubtedly influenced her creative endeavors.
An Active Community Member
In addition to her artistic pursuits, Jenilynn is a cherished member of various community groups. She takes classes at We Care Arts, where she has been a dedicated participant for about 20 years. Her involvement in the Optimist Club and Faith & Light book club further illustrates her commitment to community and personal growth. Jenilynn also shares her love for art by working at the We Care Arts gift shop located in the Town & Country Shopping Center.
A Diverse Artistic Palette
Jenilynn’s artistic endeavors span an impressive range of mediums, including woodwork, sculpture, weaving, gold leaf, clay, acrylics, oil, chalk, watercolor, and yarn. While she enjoys all styles of art, her heart leans towards abstract creations. Her favorite pieces include stunning glass art jewelry and intricate gold leaf fiber art she made in Leesa’s virtual class.
Nature as Muse
Nature serves as a profound source of inspiration for Jenilynn. The sky, with its ever-changing clouds, vivid sunrises, and breathtaking sunsets, captivates her imagination. She also finds beauty in birds and flowers, and her love for animals, particularly cats and dogs, often informs her work.

For Jenilynn, art is more than just a creative outlet—it's a form of healing. Her artistic journey is driven by a desire to expand her experience and knowledge while finding relaxation and stress relief through her creations. We Care Arts plays a significant role in this healing process, providing her with a supportive environment that continually brings joy and fulfillment.
