ArtWorks and Transition To Work - Grant Updates

We're thrilled to share some exciting news with you all. June has been filled with generosity and support from some incredible foundations. We are immensely grateful to the Community Foundation of Kettering, Good Shepherd Foundation of Ohio, WAWA Foundation, and Troy Foundation for their belief in our mission and their generous grants.

First up, a big shout-out to the Community Foundation of Kettering and Good Shepherd Foundation of Ohio for supporting our ArtWorks program. Thanks to these grants, we can continue to provide a creative outlet that not only nurtures artistic skills but also fosters personal growth and self-confidence for individuals that live with developmental disabilities, substance disorders and mental health diagnoses.

We also have fantastic news for our Transition to Work program, which has received generous support from the WAWA Foundation and the Troy Foundation. This state-established program is designed to assist students with special needs, aged 16 to 22, in transitioning from high school to employment and independent living.

At We Care Arts, we enhance this essential in-school program by offering weekly art classes that reinforce vital life and job skills. We believe in the power of art to transform and prepare our participants for the journey ahead. With these grants, we can continue to make a significant impact in their lives.

To all our supporters, thank you for helping us make a difference. Your contributions are helping shape futures and change lives through the power of art. Stay tuned for more updates, and as always, feel free to reach out if you want to get involved or learn more about our programs.
