We Care Arts Welcomes New Board Members: Debbie Lieberman, Caprice Lambert, and Michael Higgins

Dayton, OH — We Care Arts, a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of individuals through art, is thrilled to announce the appointment of three esteemed new members to its Board of Directors: Debbie Lieberman, Caprice Lambert, and Michael Higgins. Each brings a wealth of experience and expertise that will significantly contribute to the mission of We Care Arts.


Debbie Lieberman

Debbie Lieberman joins the board with a distinguished career in public service. With 27 years as an elected official, Debbie's experience includes seven years on the Clayton Council and a notable twenty-year tenure as Montgomery County Commissioner. Currently, she serves as the Director of Development in the legal department of the Montgomery County Clerk. Her extensive knowledge of governmental processes and community engagement will be invaluable to We Care Arts as it continues to expand its reach and impact.


Caprice Lambert

Caprice Lambert brings her in-depth understanding of mental health care to the We Care Arts Board. As an experienced psychologist and owner of Hearthstone Psychology, Caprice has demonstrated expertise in adolescent therapy, crisis intervention, LGBT support, trauma therapy, family therapy, and clinical supervision. Her commitment to mental health and her varied skills will enhance We Care Arts’ efforts to provide therapeutic and supportive art programs to those in need.


Michael Higgins

Michael Higgins adds a rich artistic perspective to the board with his background in fine arts. Holding both a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a Master of Arts, Michael is an accomplished artist with expertise in drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, art history, and aesthetics. His artistic vision is complemented by his experience in solo and group exhibitions in Dayton and Columbus, which will help guide We Care Arts in its mission to inspire and nurture creativity.
