Generous Grants For ArtWorks and Transition To Work

We are thrilled to share some exciting news with our community! Our organization has recently received a series of generous grant awards that will significantly enhance our programs and events. Let's take a moment to celebrate each of these contributions and the impact they will have.

Supporting ArtWorks with Iddings Foundation

We are delighted to announce that the Iddings Foundation has awarded us a grant of $5,000 to support our ArtWorks program. This funding will allow us to expand our offerings, providing more opportunities for creativity and expression within our community. ArtWorks has been a cornerstone of our efforts to foster artistic talent and encourage cultural engagement, and this grant will ensure that we can continue inspiring artists of all ages.

Transition To Work: A Boost from Key Foundations

Transition To Work is a state-established program designed to assist students with special needs, aged 16 to 22, in navigating the transition from high school to employment and independent living. At We Care Arts, we enhance this vital in-school program by offering weekly art classes that reinforce essential life and job skills. We have received significant support from several esteemed foundations. We are deeply grateful for the following contributions:

Virginia W. Kettering Foundation: $7,500
Mathile Family Foundation: $15,000
Nick & Edna Weller Charities: $10,000

Kettering Health Network Supports Our Cookie Walk & Santa's Workshop

In addition to these substantial grants, we would like to acknowledge the $500 sponsorship from Kettering Health Network for our upcoming event, the Cookie Walk. Our community eagerly anticipates this event each year. Bakers from all over the city generously contribute a variety of handmade cookies, which will be available for sale on December 13th. We are excited to partner with Kettering Health Network and appreciate their commitment to supporting local events.

We are tremendously grateful for all the foundations and partners who have made these grants possible. Your generosity not only supports our current programs but also fuels our vision for a brighter future.
