May Artist-Client of the Month
Congratulations Jean B. Artist-Client of the Month

"Jean works through self-doubt to produce unique pieces of art with original renderings of light hearted characters. She also has an awesome dry brush technique, and consistently thinks outside of the box. She also encourages her peers to add to her works and embraces input, as it is important to her to continually grow as an Artist." Art Instructor, Jessicah Taylor
Meet Jean B., our amazing Artist-Client of the Month for May at We Care Arts! Jean is a lively and warm-hearted individual from the lovely town of Kettering. She has an incredible background full of experiences and talents.
Jean's story takes us back to her days at Belmont High School, where she first set the stage for her creative pursuits. She went on to study at Miami Jacobs and Fortis, gaining a wide range of skills that have been invaluable in her life. Jean worked as a cashier for 17 years, which speaks volumes about her strong work ethic and dedication.
Music has always been a big part of Jean's life. She's an accomplished accordion player, having started at a young age. She even performed at Memorial Hall when she was just 10! Jean doesn’t just play the accordion; she also writes her own music, making her performances truly unique.
Jean's love for animals, especially dogs, is another important part of her life. She's cared for six different dogs over the years, showing her compassion and love for her furry companions.
In the art world, Jean expresses herself beautifully with watercolor. But her artistic journey is far from over. Jean is excited to try her hand at oil painting someday—it's a new challenge she's looking forward to.
Jean's passion for art is beautifully complemented by her experiences at We Care Arts. She appreciates the friendly environment and the kindness of everyone she meets there. "The people are nice and everyone is treated well," she says, capturing the essence of the supportive community that fuels her creativity.
We Care Arts is thrilled to celebrate Jean B. this month, not just for her artistic talents but for her remarkable life journey. Her story is a testament to the power of creativity, resilience, and the joy of being part of a community.
