Bathroom Wars: Unleashing Creativity & Team Spirit

Bathroom wars was a fun team activity!

At our workplace, we believe that fostering creativity and camaraderie among staff is essential for maintaining a vibrant and dynamic environment. To that end,  thanks to a generous donor who covered the cost of supplies and prizes, we recently hosted an exhilarating competition called "Bathroom Wars," where teams were  tasked with designing and decorating our five bathrooms. The challenge was simple yet exciting: come up with a unique theme, get it approved by leadership, and then bring the vision to life. The themes chosen were Medieval Castle, Pantone, Monopoly, Zen Garden, and Art Deco.

The entire process was a testament to our team's collaborative spirit. Each group meticulously crafted a project plan, ensuring every detail was accounted for. The woodshop team was an invaluable resource, creating bespoke pieces that added a unique flair to each bathroom. From painting walls to crafting decor items, everyone pitched in to transform mundane spaces into extraordinary works of art. The creative energy was palpable as each bathroom began to take on its own distinct personality.

Once the transformations were complete, we turned to social media to let the public decide the winner. After a week of intense voting, the Medieval Castle team emerged victorious. Kudos to Brandi, Kelli, Anthony, and Claudia for their exceptional work! Their reward was a memorable field trip to Ohio Valley Glass for a glass blowing class, a fitting prize that celebrates both creativity and teamwork. "Bathroom Wars" was not just a competition; it was an opportunity to bond, innovate, and infuse our workplace with a renewed sense of community and fun. We can't wait to see what other creative endeavors the future holds!
