July Letter: Spreading Joy and Seeking Support

Amazon Wish List

Dear Friends of We Care Arts,

Summer is in full swing, and we recently enjoyed a great summer picnic. During the picnic, I so enjoyed witnessing artist-clients introducing their family to other students in their classes, and even had the chance to witness a reunion between two artist-clients who hadn’t seen each other in 15-20 years! This picnic was a fantastic reminder of the joy and camaraderie that our community shares year-round. The smiles and laughter captured in this 2023 holiday party picture is a testament to the vibrant spirit that our artist-clients bring to We Care Arts throughout the year.

In fact, this festive spirit reminds us that every season is a time for giving and community. As you know, at We Care Arts, we are dedicated to empowering healing through art and community for adults with developmental disabilities, substance use disorders, and mental health diagnoses. Our mission thrives on creating an inclusive environment where our artist-clients can explore their creativity and build meaningful connections. Our free on-site and virtual art classes are vital to this mission, offering a safe space for self-expression and growth.

At the same time, in order to bring our mission to life, our artist-clients rely heavily on the generosity of supporters like you. As we enjoy this festive season of “Christmas in July,” we ask you to consider a summer gift to help us continue our work. Every contribution makes a significant impact.

  • Your “Christmas in July” donations help to sustain our programs throughout the year.
  • Your gift helps provide the necessary resources for our artist-clients.

  • Your generosity today creates opportunities for our artist-clients to thrive.

Every gift, big or small, makes a difference. Together, we can keep the holiday spirit of We Care Arts alive, ensuring that our artist-clients have access to the transformative power of art all year round.

Thank you for being the holiday elves who breathe life into our mission. We so appreciate you being a part of our festive, year-round journey!
